Common Mode Choke

Common Mode Choke

April 2020 this was so post to be a group project but unfortunately with COVID-19, I proceed ahead with the project myself.

The purpose of a “Common mode choke” is to reduce the interference of outside radio frequencies in the coax (transmission) line back to the radio.

This was a fun project, that used a Torrid Mix-31, some coax, and a 4″ x 4″ electrical box to inclose the project and keep the weather out.
